Overview: This is a multiplayer cooperative game done in the course Building Virtual Worlds offered by Carnegie Mellon University. Players are inside an alien spaceship with an alien nuclear core about to explode. To prevent that from happening, they need to follow the commands on the console and do a series of work on the buttons on the nuclear core. The game requires at least one player to read the command on the PC while the other player(s) work on the nuclear core. They cannot work on both things. The goal for the players is to work cooperatively and figure out which buttons on the box apply to each command as quickly as possible to prevent the core from exploding.
In this game, we used 3D printing to print out a box as the nuclear core and used all kinds of fidgets attached to the box, each fidget applies to different commands.
Platform: multiple fidget buttons, PC
Team Size: 5 people, including 2 programmers, 2 artists, and 1 sound designer
Time: 2 weeks
Game Engine: Unity
My Role and Contribution: I am the 3D artist on the team. I created the spaceship model and texture, the console, and the warp effect in Unity.
